The Diva's Weekly Challenge: Duotangle Auraknot and Mooka:
Two Tangles I love. What a fun!
I missed the last challenge, but this week I got the time to tangle away. The weather isn't so hot as last week, my garden is in a good state. So let's tangle. Now I will have a look at all your contributions for the challenge. I'm very curious.

The Diva's Weekly Challenge was an UMT (Use My Tangle) Challenge. The tangle was Bugles. First of all I must admit I wasn't very motivated to tangle. Somehow Bugles couldn't inspire me. And than I really had other things to do. Especially my vegetable garden. I planted fennel, celery stalks, cabbage turnip (kohlrabi), Swiss chard, salad, runner beans and sowed beetroot. And there was a lot of weed too.
But I couldn't give in to my unmotivated mood about Bugles. So I tangled away and then this Zendala growed out of my pen.

This one is for Adele Bruno's It's a string thing #43.
I couldn't get the in-and-out look of Huggins as I wished. It looks a bit plain. It's not quite how I had it in mind, but it was as always fun to draw and experiment with my pens.

The Diva's Weekly Challenge #169 was Circles. I like circles a lot and it was fun to draw. I would like to do a ZIA with circles if I find the time this week. Perhaps on Ascension Day if the weather is rainy.

I had another tile for the Diva's Rain Challenge, but was too late to put it in. It's somehow a weird tile and I'm not sure what I shall think about it.

Enjoy Ascension Day if you don't have to work and happy tangling.

This is my second entry to the Diva's circle challenge. For the first time I used my coloured pencils also for shading. I'm quite satisfied with the result.

I feel much better, the cold is gone and my mood is high - yippie!!!

The Diva's Weekly Challenge was to use the Pattern Rain, so I did a quick ATC. Perhaps I have later this week time for a bigger tile.

Last week I made this thank-you-card for a friend, who invited us (the regional team for the yearly Womens World Day of Prayer) to a Moroccan dinner and to show her photographs of her desert-trip last autumn. It was a very nice evening, the meal was very tasty and the pictures of the desert were gorgeous and my wanderlust was rising.

Then I decided that this ZIA is finished. I experimented with some metallic markers and wasn't sure if I should colour the background. But finally I took the decision to let it be as it is.

I wish you a lot of sun this week and happy tangling.

Last week ended with a sore throat and this week began with coughing and sneezing. Yesterday I thought I'm in no mood for tangling. Then I started regardless and produced this tile. I'm quite happy with it. Now I hope this nasty cold passes soon.
I hope you all feel better than me in this moment and wish you a happy week.

I have just finished this ZIA. I was inspired by Art Lady Kate (http://katetangles.blogspot.ch) for the ATC.  And then I thougt I could put it in the middle of a ZIA and tangle around. So that's what came out.

It's a string thing #39: String 036 and patterns with M like Makramee, Meer, Msst and Mooka, in honour of Yamit Fridman who created the string.

I submit my tile also to the weekly challenge #7 of madebyjoey see             here: http://madebyjoey.blogspot.ch/ The challenge was to emphasize the string. The string in my tile is the darker tendrils and the keeko-part of Mak-rah-mee and the left border of Meer.

I began tangling after having finished my preparation for tomorrows religion class. I'm philosophing with the children (11,12 years old) about the soul. So my thoughts were still in this soul-theme and it occurred to me what a soul-pampering thing zentangling is, isn'it. I'm so grateful for this gift.
