The Diva's Weekly Challenge #204 is to tangle a Valentangle. This is my contribution.

This ZIA was a nice weekend-job. I cut a piece of kraft paper and glued it on a white drawing paper. I like to draw on tanned paper, but can't find it here anywhere.

The Diva's Weekly Challenge #203 was an UMT (Use My Tangle) and we had to use the tangle Athitzi by Eleanor Holt.

It was so grey and cold outside that I wanted some colours and flowers. It's a fun tangle and it was Zen to tangle away.
I had a nice afternoon with a new class of 5th and 6th graders (11 to 12 years old). They are so wonderful and curious it will be a pleasure to teach Religion. We had some kind of a philosophical lesson today. We talked about the big questions of life. It's a good possibility to get familiar with each other. After such lessons I know again why I love to teach Religion. It's not always this easy because a lot of kids don't know a thing about Christianity and are not willing to learn something about it.

It's a string thing #77: We had to use the tangles Heartvine, Heartstrings, Luv-A and Heartrope together with string 077.

That was a lovely challenge! Thank you, Adele.

The Diva's Weekly Challenge #202:
The Diva challenged us this week with a Duo-Tangle. We had to use the tangles Copada and Chebucto by Mararet Bremner. I didn't coped well with the tangle Chebucto. There was more than one try I needed to get it drawn properly. It looks easy but it isn't. I wasn't quite happy with the tile before I shaded it. But with a good shading you can do a lot of good to a tile. So have a look and give me your opinion.

This tile is inspired by the recent zentangle newsletter about the tangle Enyshou. I'm not sure if I have drawn it properly because there are no official step-outs of it.

It's a string thing #76:
That's what I wrote to Adele:
Dear Adele

It’s been a while since I participated in one of your challenges. It`s always quite a challenge to get strings and the asked patterns into something harmonic.
Sometimes it’s easier and sometimes not. This time it was somehow very difficult to get this erratic string together with the delicate patterns. But I’m quite happy what I produced.
So thank you very much for your challenging tasks.

Have a good time

The Diva's Weekly Challenge #201
This Challenge is dedicated to Lauras little son Artoo and the Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day on January 24th.
Moebius Syndrome is very rare, only 1-2 children of one million have it. For more information go to the Diva's site http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.ch/ or to http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6bius-Syndrom.
It was an honour to tangle for this day and for Artoo. He's so cute and so brave. He just had an eye surgery and I know  a bit about that, because I had two as a very young child and one as a seventeen old teenager. Now I'm again cross eyed with my left eye since 10 years and I know how people can stare sometimes. But it's nothing compared to what Artoo has to deal with.

This Zendala is a recent tile I finished. The template is one of Erin's (http://thebrightowl.blogspot.ch/).

Have a nice day and keep up tangling. Thank your for your visit.
